Anticipating the roll-out of a regional broadband Internet infrastructure, NavTech worked with a leading telecommunications operator in the Gulf to analyse the opportunity and define attractive and profitable broadband services for both the corporate and individual markets. The implementation of these services is completed and operations are ongoing.

Telecommunications:
Defining, building, and operating a regional Data Centre
(Gulf)

NavTech assisted a national telecommunications operator in the Gulf in developing a strategy, service portfolio, and marketing plan for their new Data Centre adapted to the identified target market. We oversaw the design and managed the building works. Meanwhile, operations have successfully been launched and customers are being served. Given the success of the Data Centre, an extension is being planned.

Real Estate:
Advanced ICT Services for a new city
(Gulf region)

Investors in one of the Gulf states have called on NavTech for assistance in the planning of advanced ICT services for a major real estate development project: About 2000 villas and 3000 apartments of high standing, scattered around a golf course, leisure park, and recreational facilities in an attractive environment are to be equipped with leading-edge technologies in order to enjoy telecommunications/ Internet, entertainment, facilities management, and security services.

eGovernment/ Transport:
Internet strategy and services for a leading Transport Organisation
(Gulf region)

The first phase of the strategy, a portal site for the transport industry, has been successfully  implemented. Due to thorough requirements gathering, the site has experienced excellent customer acceptance: six months after its launch, 95% of all interactions between the Transport Organisation and its customers takes place through that portal.

Meanwhile, the second and third phases of the strategy, namely a full eCommerce platform, have been completed. Due to early and systematic adoption of advanced IP technologies and applications, the customer is meanwhile among the world's leading transport organisations and has started transferring his knowledge to other regions.

Global Corporate Data Network of a
multi-national Energy Information Provider
(Switzerland)

Needs analysis, network architecture, preparation of an RFP, vendor qualification, proposal evaluation, recommendations, contract negotiation; implementation, test, and phase-over of the global Corporate Data Network with minimum service disruption.

Media:
Online presence for a leading TV News Channel
(Middle East)

In close co-operation with the TV Channel's own journalists as well as external international journalists, NavTech developed the strategy and phased introduction of the web site's services and features. This included the site navigation, layout, and graphics as well as advise for the Content Management System and other customised tools and workflow for content production and publishing.

We also designed the highly-available systems and network architecture and implemented it. Our technicians are operating the platform and managing the applications on behalf of the customer.
